Your Al Shamkha Home Move
Because so many of Al Shamkha’s plots are newly built — the Al Reeman areas included — a lot of moves here are first-time set-ups: whole households arriving from older districts of the capital or from Dubai, gardens beginning as bare sand, and families opening the doors of brand-new rooms.
Al Shamkha moves are planned around the wide plots, gate widths and quiet new streets, and we confirm truck access before the day arrives. Coming in from Dubai? Our team for the Dubai to Abu Dhabi run covers the entire route: the same crew loads up, makes the drive and sets up your new home at the far end.

From Al Shamkha, our teams load and deliver across Abu Dhabi every week, including:
Pieces We Plan Carefully in Al Shamkha
A new villa still holds a few pieces that need planning before they come through the gate. These are the ones we plan for most often in Al Shamkha:
Majlis Seating & Long Sofas
Long majlis sofas are first measured against the doors and gates, then wrapped and carried with enough hands so every corner stays clear.
Wardrobes & Bedroom Furniture
Large wardrobes are taken apart panel by panel, each piece’s fittings bagged on their own, then rebuilt in the new bedrooms.
Garden & Outdoor Furniture Sets
Outdoor sets get a brush-down, the cushions are bagged and the frames wrapped, ready for the new garden right from day one.
Home Gyms
Your treadmill, racks and cable machines are unbolted in a set order with every bolt labelled, then reassembled in your new workout room.
Pianos, Grand & Upright
Each piano is padded, boarded and rolled on skates, following a route through the villa that we agree before any lifting begins.
Safes & Solid Cabinets
Heavy safes get a lift planned just for them, with crew size, route and kit all agreed ahead of moving day.
Getting Ready in Al Shamkha: Your Checklist
Do a few small jobs before the crew arrives and the day itself stays calm and quick:
- Set up water and electricity for the new villa well ahead of time
- Give any gate security our crew and truck details before moving day
- Measure the gate and the doors inside against your largest pieces
- Put tenancy and utility documents in one folder and keep it with you
- Defrost and empty the fridge the day before moving day
- Mark each room in the new home so boxes end up in the right place
- Medicines, chargers, documents and school bags belong in your own car
- Warn us about unfinished roads or sandy plots near the villa so the truck route can be planned
Moving Day in Al Shamkha, Step By Step
Most Al Shamkha moves start at the gate of a new villa. The crew leader walks the home with you, agrees the running order for the rooms and confirms what will be dismantled, before packing begins at the old address. Furniture is wrapped inside the house, boxes are labelled by room, and at the new villa everything is carried straight to its room. Beds and wardrobes are rebuilt before we leave, and the packing waste leaves with us.
